This panel presentation is geared toward those interested in health for transgender and gender variant people, medical providers seeking greater gender literacy, and students pursuing careers in medical fields, social work, and nonprofit work. The purpose of the panel is to educate the audience about the health-related systems gender variant folks must navigate, the kind of gender literacy required to serve such clients, and the needs currently facing medical establishments for establishing better policies related to gender.
